risqué

about this layout layout completed on November 26th of 2006

I have been wanting to complete a nice and simple layout for a while without all of the design complexities such as brushes and textures and this is the first layout that I was able to complete in this fashion. The entire layout only has one image, the lovely silhouette from Stock Xchng, which I manipulated vigorously. The [one] texture was done by me and I used the vector shapes from Photoshop.

Being as I was trying to find some new edge to put in a layout, I also decided to modify it a little bit by making a lot of it customizable, such as the title, called Risqué, and the top strip of links, which do not have to be links at all, they can be removed or they can be replaced with a quote. Overall, I think this layout is so gorgeous and I imagine can be very useful for a blog or maybe a collectable. I'm actually shocked that I could pull off the simplicity in such a way. Heh, I think that I'm definitely getting the hang of things. woot. Enjoy your new layout!
